BIO NEW 2005

The Porcelain TwinZ are internationally acclaimed fetish-burlesque, performance artists who travel the world performing their highly stylized, theatrical, erotic stage shows. Hailing from Portland Oregon, the Porcelain TwinZ have been quoted by Skin Two magazine as "reinventing burlesque for the 21st century." They have appeared on numerous magazine covers from Bizarre, Penthouse, Leg Show, and Alternative London to name but a few. They are also Independent film makers, writers, directors, producers, singers, models, dancers, and actors. The Porcelain TwinZ have worked very hard over the last several years to establish themselves as ground breaking artists, building their career from the ground up and running their entire empire independently.

Years prior to all of their success as entertainers, the pair gravitated from a small town in Eastern Oregon where they grew up, to the Portland area immediately after graduating high school to run in college on athletic scholarships. Destined for a professional running career, the Porcelain TwinZ as we now know them, were yet to be born.

The Porcelain TwinZ entered into the sex industry as exotic dancers in the spring of 1997, after a three year long college career as distance runners came to an end due to athletic injuries, and financial hardships. In order to make ends meet the two were thrust into the workforce, but chose an unconventional, controversial, and most of all, unexpected profession of exotic dancing. Portland Oregon, their home and the strip club capitol of the United States would nurture, influence, transform, and elevate the Porcelain TwinZ to the next level as professional entertainers.

The Porcelain TwinZ were introduced into the Portland underground where musicians, artists, and strippers, mesh together into a melting pot of what makes Portland unique and cool. In 1997 the twosome became involved in the fetish night scene which had a direct influence on their shows to come. The Porcelain TwinZ evolved from strippers into performance artists, performing at fetish balls and cabarets periodically throughout the city of Portland. It wasn’t until Dante’s Sunday Sinferno Cabaret opened in 2000 that the Porcelain TwinZ would have an outlet to perform their elaborate performance art shows every week, and eventually inspire the new fetish-burlesque cabaret movement, touring the world with their unique, innovative shows. Dante’s and the underground fetish night scene would also inspire and spawn their first erotic art film, "The Masked Charade."

Alternative London Magazine quotes, "The audience that view a Porcelain TwinZ show, will note that it is imaginative, fresh, clever, and erotically stylized. "Skin Two Magazine quotes, "Fetish strip act, the Porcelain Twinz, reinvent burlesque for the 21st century. While the fetish scene has embraced the revival of traditional burlesque, it has so far proved pretty immune to influences from modern strip club culture. But thanks to two sisters from Portland Oregon, things are finally changing. A big warm hand please for The Porcelain TwinZ."

The Porcelain Twinz continue to write and create new projects and with the release of their autobiography entiled the Porcelain TwinZ, Our Life In The Sex Industry, we will see the launch of their publishing company, Porcelain Publishing. They will also be pursuing their film making dreams, releasing on DVD for the first time, their erotic art film, The Masked Charade. In the near future we will also see the next evolution of their fetish-burlesque cabaret shows intertwined with the creation of their music and singing.
